TerraLIX Obtains Europe’s First CE Certification for a Portable Air-Cooled Hydrogen Fuel Cell Generator

TerraLIX announced that it has successfully obtained CE (Conformité Européenne) certification for its flagship product, a 1.5 kW-class portable hydrogen fuel cell generator based on proprietary air-cooled fuel cell technology, marking the first such certification achieved by a Korean company in this product category.
CE certification is a mandatory European conformity mark indicating that a product fully complies with the European Union’s safety, health, and consumer protection requirements. Products bearing the CE mark are approved for sale and distribution across EU member states.

The project focuses on demonstration of detachable hydrogen container modules and fuel cell systems for specialty equipment.
The availability of a CE-certified product is expected to enhance the stability and success of the regulatory sandbox program. Upon successful completion of the project, Buan County plans to introduce portable fuel cell-powered specialty vehicles, such as aerial work platforms and refrigerated trucks, as part of its broader Hydrogen City initiative.
